NEWPORT BEACH, California, USA --- July 20, 2001- The hosts of the
upcoming 12th Annual Asia Pacific�s Hotel Investment Conference announced
that Kathleen Taylor, President, Worldwide Business Operations, Four Seasons
Hotels & Resorts, will deliver the keynote address at the event, scheduled
for October 10-12, 2001 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong.
Taylor, whose office is in Toronto, Canada, joined
Four Seasons in 1989. She is responsible for overseeing the business
side of the Company�s affairs, including directing Four Seasons worldwide
hotel and residential product development efforts and managing the Company�s
acquisition and corporate planning activities.
Event Chairmen and Hosts Robert Stiles of Sonnenblick-Goldman Company
and Robert Hecker of Horwath Asia Pacific made the announcement as part
of the Conference registration kick-off and the release of the speaker
line-up and program topics. �We are very excited that Kathleen has

As
President, Worldwide Business Operations, Kathleen is responsible for overseeing
the business side of the Company's affairs, including directing Four Seasons'
worldwide hotel and residential product development efforts, managing the
Company's acquisition and corporate planning activities, and overseeing
the corporate human resource, corporate administration and legal affairs
groups.
Kathleen joined Four Seasons in 1989, and was appointed
Vice-President and General Counsel of Four Seasons in 1992. She became
Secretary of the Company and the Board of Directors in the spring of 1993.
In the fall of the same year, Kathleen was promoted to
the level of Senior Vice-President and joined the Management Committee
of the Company. She became Senior Vice-President, Corporate Planning
and Development in the fall of 1995, and on January 1, 1997, she became
Executive Vice President, and assumed her role as Executive Vice
President, Chief Corporate Officer on April 25, 1998. On November 1, 1999
she was appointed President, Worldwide Business Operations.
Kathleen obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law
School and her M.B.A. from York University in 1984. She also graduated
�With Distinction� with an Honours B.A. in Political Science and Economics
from the University of Toronto in 1980. |
