MINNEAPOLIS - June 12, 2001- IDeaS, Inc., the leading provider of revenue management and optimization solutions, announced today an agreement with Nashville, Tenn. based Opryland Hospitality Group to install IDeaS Revenue Management solution in its flagship 2,883 room property, Opryland Hotel. The Opryland Hospitality Group also has properties in development in Florida and Texas where they will also be deploying IDeaS Revenue Management solutions in a first-ever implementation prior to a properties opening. Opryland Hotel Nashville is the world's largest combined hotel and convention center in one complex. After successfully integrating with Opryland's property management system LMS, IDeaS will install its software at Opryland Hotel, a primarily group reservation facility. "With 81 percent group sales, we evaluated IDeaS and its competitors' systems to evaluate group sales. We chose IDeaS because of their superior group forecast module and are confident that they will succeed in providing us with incremental results," said Opryland Hospitality Group President Dave Jones. Opryland Hotel Florida opens February 2, 2002 with 1,400 guest rooms and 400,000 square feet of meeting, convention and exhibition space. Opryland Hotel Texas opens August 1, 2003 in Grapevine with 1,500 guest rooms and 400,000 square feet of meeting, convention and exhibition space.
