Coral Gables, FL (October 3, 2000) � Leonard Parker Company (LPC),
the largest independent procurement company for the hospitality industry,
and a wholly owned subsidiary of Hotelworks.com, Inc. (AMEX:HWS), today
announced completions and updates of recent key global projects.
As of late summer, the company had Operating Supplies and Equipment
(OS&E) or Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) procurement
services contracts for ninety-five projects, in twenty-three countries,
throughout four continents.
Highlights include:

LPC completion of the procurement of all Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment
(FF&E) and Operating Supplies and Equipment (OS&E) in time for
the August 17, 2000, Grand Opening of the $1.3 billion, 2,567-room Las
Vegas Aladdin Hotel-Casino.

LPC successfully completed its fourth project in Dubai, with the opening
of Emirates Towers. The eight million dollar contract included procurement
of Operation Supplies and Equipment (OS&E). Other recently completed
projects in Dubai include the Royal Mirage Hotel, the Jumeira Beach Hotel
and the Burj Al Arab (Arabian Tower).

LPC engaged its merchandising expertise and buying power to realize a $2.8
million dollar to-date cost savings for the reconstruction of the Diplomat
Resort and Country Club. The cost savings was realized on an initial FF&E
budget of $26 million.

LPC completed the procurement of all Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment
(FF&E) and Operating Supplies and Equipment (OS&E) for the luxurious
new 22-story, 300-room JW Marriott Hotel located in Miami, Florida.

The newest Inter-Continental Hotels in the Americas � the now-open Inter-Continental
Miami Airport West, and the soon-to-open Hotel Inter-Continental Guatemala
City � both will have LPC to thank for timely completion of their projects
in order to meet tight deadlines.

LPC recently signed a contract to supply FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures
& Equipment) for the JW Marriott Caracas, scheduled to open in April,
2002. The 260-room property has been the only newly constructed hotel in
Caracas in several years.
