Monterey Peninsula Inns Automating
Corporate and Property Operations
with the Maestro Enterprise Solution
Markham, Ontario, February 4, 2000  - Northwind is implementing the Maestro Enterprise solution for Monterey Peninsula Inns.  The Monterey Peninsula Inns is a collection of boutique resort properties in Californias scenic Pacific Grove area.  Monterey Inns owns and operates the Larchwood Inn, Deer Haven Inn, Sunset Inn, Terrace Oaks Inn and the Sea breeze Inn and have plans to acquire more properties. Following a careful analysis and definition of the scope of requirements essential to their corporate operations, the Maestro Enterprise Solution was selected to automate their corporate and property level operations.

Anthony Faux, Owner, Monterey Peninsula Inns: Northwind had technology that was far superior to any other vendor. Our boutique properties have requirements that go beyond the normal hotel operation.  We needed a solution that would enable us to handle the properties individually and as part of our corporate enterprise. The ability to do this eliminated many competitors and was a key element in choosing Maestro Enterprise .

The pivotal aspect that drew Monterey Inns to Maestro Enterprise, was the flexibility offered in its corporate functionality. With its unique options to satisfy a vast number of operational setups, Maestro Enterprises Direct Access Corporate Booking Center provides the ability to give direct access to the property database from a central location without utilization of an interface or central reservation system. The unique method implemented by Maestro Enterprise to perform this maneuver, proved to be a superior feature for Monterey Inns.

Maestro Enterprise is the best-suited solution to the Monterey Inns properties providing features for growth as more properties are acquired. Important to their operations and their continued growth, the eMaestro On-line Real-time Web Reservation component was a considerable and fundamental concern as the Internet continues to prove itself as an important sales tool. Guests also rely on this resource for an easy and hassle free way to make a booking, and having access to real-time property inventory, availability, yield rating and instant real-time confirmation, increases Monterey Inns ability to sell rooms and services significantly.  This same concept can be applied across-the-board when accommodating travel agents, wholesalers and corporate guests by providing them with a special ID for reservation access.

Northwind is very proud to be selected as the supplier to Monterey Inns. This relationship is very strategic to us, and is a great endorsement of our enterprise capabilities.  We are looking forward to a long relationship with Monterey. stated Warren Dehan, president, Northwind.

Maestro Enterprise is a suite of products providing owning, corporate and management companies capabilities to centralize reservations, guest/client management and accounts receivable efforts for all of their properties.  The product suite installed at the Monterey Peninsula Inns includes Global Reservations, Centralized Client Database Management and Centralized Accounts Receivable Management.  At the property level, Maestro PMS is installed to facilitate front office operations.
