Timothy Hansing now Director of Development Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts have appointed Timothy Hansing as Director of Development for the international hotel group replacing Michael Herzog.. T. Hansing is based in Zürich and reports to Jean-Gabriel Pérès, President & CEO of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. The new Director of Development, Tim Hansing, started his career in the hospitality industry where he has worked for Forte, Canadian Pacific and the Whitbread Hotel Group. In 1993 Hansing moved into the hospitality consulting business, where he worked for Pannell Kerr Forster Associates in London. In 1996 he was recruited by Arthur Andersen and has spent the last three years in the Middle East heading their Real Estate and Hospitality Consulting Division. �It�s really great to be back in the industry again after such a long break � I had forgotten just how exciting and dynamic it was" said Hansing. Denis Johnson new Corporate Director Sales Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts have appointed a new Corporate Director of Sales � Denis Johnson who replaced Max-Peter Droll at the beginning of December. English born Johnson, spent the last two years as Director Sales & Marketing for Corinthia Hotels International, based in Malta, where he was responsible for 23 hotels in Malta, Turkey, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Tunisia. He has a vast amount of experience within the hotel and travel industry, which includes senior Sales and Marketing positions with Westin Hotels & Resorts, Mariott, Hilton and Conrad Hotels. "Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts have started an aggressive expansion programme of their 4 and 5 star hotels. The opportunities this presents to our sales organisation is both exciting and challenging" said Johnson. |
