The Blue Train, South Africa's top tourist attraction
recently voted the best train in the world at the world travel awards has
awarded the tender to implement a comprehensive reservations and point
of sale software system to NFS South Africa.
The Blue Train will be implementing LodgeMaster for Windows a modular
Property Management System offering customized solutions for lodging properties,
from limited service motels to full service hotels and resorts. Designed
with a scalable operating platform, LodgeMaster for Windows can operate
in either a single workstation or a network (LAN or WAN) environment.
NFS Hospitality is the South African Operating Division of Fabco Systems
Inc., a Californian based
hotel Software Company, supporting a world wide installed base of over
600 properties, spanning 21 countries. Fabco Systems Inc. was established
in 1979, to develop software to support a fast expanding chain of family
hotels. NFS also have offices in Ireland and the UK. NFS is
responsible for marketing in the European, Middle East and African Markets,
as well as providing comprehensive local support to the installed base.

"I predict that NFS will be the most successful reservation system
software to hit the market this year! For the Blue Train it will be the
key to achieve unparalleled levels of customer service and a competitive
advantage.
Superior service forms the backbone of The Blue Trains business. Lodge
Master offers superior functionality, which will add value to the business
and is the only vendor that conforms to all Blue Train's functional requirements.
