Provenance Hotels Appoints Heather Munro as Director of Sales
for the 163-room Hotel Max in Seattle, Washington

December 7, 2011 – SEATTLE, Wash. – Provenance Hotels is pleased to announce the hiring of Heather Munro as director of sales for Hotel Max, an award-winning, art-filled boutique hotel property located in the heart of downtown Seattle.

“I am thrilled that Heather will be leading our sales efforts” said Jim Chittenden, General Manager of Hotel Max.  ”The Max is perfectly situated for both corporate and leisure travel and, with her fantastic regional connections, Heather is the perfect person to spearhead our outreach to those key market segments.”

Munro brings an impressive track record in hotel sales and revenue management to Hotel Max.  Her most recent position was as director of sales and marketing at Hotel Bellevue, a boutique luxury property in the Bellevue, Wash. Prior to that she served as corporate regional revenue manager for Red Lion Hotels, working with all properties in Washington, Oregon, Montana and California.  She also served as the Pacific Northwest regional revenue manager and regional director of sales and marketing at The Hotel Group, overseeing seven properties and 700 keys.

A graduate of Washington State University, where she studied hospitality business management, Munro began her career in guest services the Hilton Anaheim and revenue management at the Hilton San Francisco before returning to the Pacific Northwest for a position as sales manager at the Hilton and Doubletree Seattle Airport.
