Starwood Hotels Plans Entry into Bermuda With St. Regis Bermuda

Jul. 1, 2009--NEW YORK, Usa -- Starwood Hotels has announced plans to open a new St Regis hotel in Bermuda, marking the debut of Starwood and the St Regis brand on the exclusive island. Scheduled to open in 2013, the St Regis Bermuda will be located in the heart of downtown Hamilton, Bermuda's picturesque seaside capital and international business hub.

The first major luxury hotel to open in downtown Hamilton in more than 50 years, the St Regis Bermuda will feature approximately 140 guest rooms and suites and approximately 80 serviced residences.

Nestled in the centre of Hamilton's business district and just a short distance from Bermuda's beaches, the St Regis Bermuda will be the ideal destination for both business and leisure guests. A leading economic and political hub, Hamilton offers guests and residences a mix of specialty shopping, restaurants, cultural centres and landmark corporations.
