Twenty-plus-year veteran management/marketing
executive will spearhead
Niantic, Conn. — January 22, 2008 — INNCOM, the global leader in developing, manufacturing and marketing energy-management systems and products for the lodging industry, has named veteran sales, marketing and management executive Douglas L. Kwok as Director of Sales for the Asia Pacific region.
Kwok, 57, brings two decades of sales and management success to INNCOM with specific experience in developing the China market. He most recently served as Country Manager/Hong Kong and Taiwan for Intergraph Corp., an international software-services firm based in Huntsville, Ala.
“We are pleased and excited to welcome Doug aboard,” said INNCOM CEO Duane Buckingham. “His vast knowledge of and contacts in the Asia Pacific region, plus his 20-plus years of sales, marketing and management experience, will be invaluable as we expand our current presence in the region.”
Kwok said his goals as INNCOM’s Director of Sales for the Asia Pacific region are three-fold.
“My objectives starting out are to do a high-level market analysis, provide enhanced sales and services for INNCOM’s existing clients and projects in the region, and to lead INNCOM’s further expansion in the Asia Pacific region,” he said. “The hospitality industry is booming in the region, and I feel there is great potential there—and that we have the people, products and services to establish market dominance there.”
Kwok, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, will be based in Hong Kong and head up INNCOM’s sales efforts in the region.
