Former Managing Director for Thayer Lodging Group, Dave Weymer, 
Joins Noble Investment Group as a Managing Principal

ATLANTA, Ga., March 19th, 2007 � Privately held Noble Investment Group (�Noble�), a leading investment management, operating and development organization in the lodging and hospitality industry, today announced that David J. (Dave) Weymer has joined the organization as a managing principal and a member of it�s  investment committee.  
 
Weymer has broad and diverse expertise in investment banking and real estate finance, asset management and dispositions in addition to his background as a practicing general counsel.  In the new role, Weymer will lead all areas of capital markets, legal and asset management for Noble and its private equity funds, representing existing assets in excess of $700 million in value, and its current platform to invest more than $1 billion in the lodging industry over the next three years.

Prior to joining Noble, Weymer was a managing director for Thayer Lodging Group, where he was principal for 12 years.  At Thayer, he was responsible for securing approximately $1.8 billion in debt placement, closing approximately $1.7 billion in acquisitions and selling approximately $1.8 billion in assets.  Previously, he was assistant general counsel for Prime Retail, a publicly traded outlet mall developer, and formerly was senior counsel for United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company, with responsibility for legal issues and work on a diversified $1 billion real estate portfolio.  

Weymer received his B.A. in History from Wake Forest University, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore, where he graduated summa cum laude.  He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Urban Land Institute, and is active in a variety of real estate and lodging industry organizations and boards.
