ATLANTA (January 19, 2005) � Doubletree Hotels has announced the debut of the Doubletree Hotel Atlanta Northwest - Marietta, representing the newest full-service addition to join the brand�s portfolio of more than 150 fine properties across North America.  Located near the intersection of Interstates 75 & 285, the 223-room hotel is within 10 miles of all Greater Atlanta business centers, shopping districts and tourist attractions including the Georgia World Congress Center, World of Coca Cola®, CNN® Center, Buckhead and Turner Field®.
 
Formerly a Radisson, the Doubletree Hotel Atlanta Northwest-Marietta is owned by Acorn Asset Management, operated under a franchise agreement with Doubletree Hotel Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation and managed by Atlanta-based Resource Hospitality.

The Doubletree Atlanta Northwest � Marietta caters to today�s techno-savvy, sophisticated guest looking for a fresh, new experience in hospitality. The signature aspect of the Doubletree Atlanta Northwest � Marietta is a welcoming, contemporary lobby area which features complimentary, wireless high-speed Internet access and a high-tech audio architecture that integrates music, voice and sound systems to capture the energy of the hotel.  The Mondo Mocha Café provides an interactive fusion of full-service restaurant, wine bar, business center and espresso bar where guests can dine on classic cuisine, indulge in the finest wine, grab a quick cup of coffee and attend to any business need. 

Many thoughtful style and service enhancements have been made throughout the Doubletree Atlanta Northwest � Marietta, including recently renovated, oversized guest rooms with contemporary, residential-style furnishings.  All guestrooms have been upgraded with 27� flat-screen televisions; signature chaise lounges; and the Sweet Dreams® by Doubletree Sleep Experience � which includes a plentiful amount of pillows, a luxurious linen package of a down-filled duvet wrapped in triple sheeting and a specially designed plush-top mattress and box spring system that ensures a great night�s sleep.  Guest bathrooms have been redesigned to include upgraded lighting, new vanities with granite counters, updated fixtures and a curved shower rod that allows for 20% more space in the shower. 

The 12,000 square feet of meeting and event facilities available at the Doubletree Atlanta Northwest � Marietta feature complimentary, wireless high-speed Internet access and premier audio/visual capabilities.  For groups from 10 to 600, a dedicated meeting concierge is available at the hotel to assist meeting planners in preparing and executing each meeting.  Recreational amenities include an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness room including cardiovascular exercise equipment, weight machines, free weights, and a newly designed Pilates studio.
