Daytona Beach, Fla. – (April 13. 2005) – Oceans Resorts, Daytona’s leading hotel company, has purchased the 80-unit Atlantic Las Brisas Inn & Suites.

The acquisition at 700 North Atlantic Avenue expands the company portfolio to more than 1,800 hotel rooms along the beachfront and gives Oceans Resorts a very competitive economy hotel in the heart of Daytona Beach.

Rates at the Atlantic Las Brisas start at $45 a night.  During Memorial Day weekend rates start at $79 a night.  The hotel can now be booked on or by calling Oceans Resorts central reservations, 1-800-874-7420.

The Atlantic Las Brisas will become part of the Plaza complex that will be managed by Oceans Resorts regional vice president, Steve Dorcy.  The Plaza Complex also includes the landmark Plaza Resort & Spa and Plaza Ocean Club.

Dorcy noted that the company plans to start renovations in the next several months on the Las Brisas including refurbishing the exterior, remodeling each room and upgrading the furnishings.

“The hotel is designed to provide a comfortable room with direct beach access,” Dorcy said.  “With many of our properties going more upscale, the Las Brisas will be an attractive option for the budget traveler.”
