Oceans Resorts Acquires Daytona Beach's
Best Western Mayan Inn

Daytona Beach, Fla. � (April 4, 2005) � Oceans Resorts, Daytona Beach�s leading hotel company, has purchased the 114-room Best Western Mayan Inn, boosting its portfolio of hotels just in time for the strong summer season. 

The acquisition of the newly renovated Best Western Mayan Inn, 103 S. Ocean Avenue, increases the total room count under the management of Oceans Resorts to more than 1,750 rooms.  Oceans Resorts, a Bray & Gillespie company, made the purchase to serve growing customer demand in Daytona.  The resort is now accepting reservations on DaytonaHotels.com for rates starting at $89 a night.

Oceans Resorts named Shawn Lenkiewicz the Mayan Inn�s n new General Manager. Lenkiewicz, one of Oceans� top managers was formerly the operation manager at Oceans Resorts� Best Western LaPlaya Inn.  He has also previously served as a general manager of the Beachcomer and Acapulco Resort.
