Ms. Gross is responsible for the efficient and overall operation of the 122-room hotel.  She reports to Mr. Gary Thirkell, President of Crown American Hotels.

Ms. Gross has earned valuable experience in the hospitality industry.  Most recently, Ms. Gross was a Quality Consultant for Intercontinental Group.  As a Quality Consultant, she was responsible for hotel consultation visits, regional overviews, action plans and improvement recommendations.  Previously, Ms. Gross was a General Manager for various hotels with the Shaner Group including: Hampton Inn in Kinston, North Carolina; Holiday Inn in Jacksonville, North Carolina; New England Suites in Dublin, Ohio and Interim Manager for properties in North Carolina, Texas, Ohio and Mississippi.

Ms. Gross has successfully completed the Holiday Inn General Manager School and is a Certified Trainer for Creating Quality Excellence and SMART for Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express Hotels.  Ms. Gross assumed her new position May 20, 2003.

Headquartered in Johnstown, PA, Crown American Hotels currently owns and operates 27 hotels in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.  All hotels are operated through franchise agreements with Intercontinental Group, Choice Hotels International, Marriott, Wyndham International, and Starwood.
