GuestWare, Kor Hotel Group Partner to Deliver
Powerful, Personalized Service

LOS ANGELES - March 2003 - Kor Hotel Group has selected GuestWare as the Customer Relationship Management solution for four of its high-end, boutique hotels. The Los Angeles-based company already has installed GuestWare in three of its California properties: the Avalon Hotel and Maison 140 in Beverly Hills, and the Viceroy in Santa Monica. It soon will install GuestWare in its Palm Springs-based Estrella hotel.

�GuestWare is the tool we need to efficiently deliver highly personalized guest service,� says John Arnett, chief operating officer and partner of Kor Hotel Group. �It enables us to quickly recognize and reward our repeat guests and build guest loyalty. That is imperative in California�s highly competitive hotel markets.�

Using data from Kor�s Hotel Information Systems property management system, GuestWare�s Guest Recognition software automatically builds and maintains a database of Kor�s repeat guests. GuestWare�s unique matching process compares expected arrivals with past customers to identify each repeat visitor. It also detects duplicates and questionable matches to ensure that all repeat guests get the special attention they deserve.

�GuestWare consolidates all repeat guest information into clear, intuitive screens that contain detailed demographics, preferences and a history of visits, past problems and requests,� says Mike Benjamin, vice president of sales for Seattle-based Diversified Computer Corp., maker of GuestWare. �GuestWare enables Kor to generate reports that show profiles of all expected arrivals, or print guest lists by number of nights, visits, revenue, city and more. Mailings also can be generated based on city, visit history and preferences.�

�GuestWare allows us to compile a record of every guest incident and its resolution,� Arnett says. �That helps us prevent problems from reoccurring and potentially will save us thousands of dollars.�

GuestWare�s Incident Tracking feature enables Kor to generate reports that detail incidents by room, group or type of incident. Graphing tools give the company the ability to see the most common problems and identify trends. Kor staff can generate graphs by �Time of Day,� �Day of Week,� �Staff,� �Room Section,� �Cost,� or �Reported by� for any date range.
