Ms. Conner is the General Manager at the company�s Holiday Inn located at Route 68 & I-80 in Clarion, Pennsylvania.  She has been employed at the Holiday Inn for the past five years. 

This is the sixth year that Crown American Hotels has made this recognition among its 27 General Managers.

Mr. Gary Thirkell, President of Crown American Hotels, made the announcement at their annual conference held March 9 - 11th at the company�s Holiday Inn Holidome & Conference Center in Frederick, Maryland. 

Ms. Conner was recognized for achieving revenue objectives and providing outstanding customer service and community service.  Ms. Conner and her team won their third Quality Excellence Award in 2002 by meeting scoring criteria in the franchise�s 12-Month Overall Satisfaction Index.  This award is Six Continents Hotels� most prestigious, given to hotels achieving distinction in all aspects of their operations. 

As General Manager of the Year, Ms. Conner was presented with a beautiful crystal award and other prizes.

Ms. Sherry Zelina has been named the 2002 Sales Person of the Year.  Ms. Zelina is the Director of Sales at the company�s Holiday Inn Holidome & Conference Center located at 700 West Main Street in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. 

Ms. Grace Markum, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Crown American Hotels, made the announcement.

Ms. Zelina was recognized for excellent performance, attaining rooms revenue goals, effective operation of the sales office, and exhibiting leadership skills. 

As Sales Person of the Year, Ms. Zelina was presented with a beautiful crystal award and other prizes.
