Previously, Carrasco served as vice president of operations for Omega Resorts in Puerto Vallarta, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations for over 1,200 rooms.  He also worked with Allegro Resorts as the director of regional operations for the Caribbean and with Diamond Resorts in Nuevo Vallarta and Cozumel as general manager. 

Carrasco obtained his degree in hotel management administration from Trinity University in Delaware and is fluent in both Spanish and English.   He is a member of the Hotel & Motel Association of Santo Domingo, Puerto Vallarta, and Nuevo Vallarta.
