Chicago, IL, September 14, 2000- Hotel Inter-Continental Chicago today
announced the appointment of Marten Schoenrock as Director of Food and
Beverage. In addition to overseeing the hotel�s food and beverage
operations, Mr. Schoenrock will be involved with the upcoming renovation
at the Inter-Continental Chicago which will include a new restaurant, several
function rooms and the Bar/Salon.
A twelve-year hospitality industry veteran, Mr. Schoenrock joined Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts in 1991. In his tenure with the company he was named Food and Beverage Manager for Hotel Inter-Continental Tashkent, Uzbekistan and Hotel Inter-Continental Vienna. Additionally, he served in other departments within the organization and was an opening team member for several Inter-Continental Hotels around the globe. Mr. Schoenrock received his degree from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Bonn, Germany. The 844-room Hotel Inter-Continental Chicago is located at 505 N. Michigan Avenue, in the heart of Chicago�s business, entertainment and shopping districts. The restored 1929 landmark property offers both historic and contemporary settings and houses the restaurant Amber, as well as 30 meeting rooms, four ballrooms, a lobby lounge. |
