COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO, July, 2000 - Cheyenne
Mountain Conference Resorts Media and Business Service Center now offers
easier access and greatly expanded capacity. In June 2000, the resort announced
completion of a $150,000 expansion and integration of the resort-owned
Media and Business Service Center. The integration consolidates the two
resources in a prominent location in the resorts main lodge.
In addition to tripling the size of the Business Service Center, the
upgrade included the addition of new digital, color and standard copiers
and all new computers in the business service center. An IBM client - server
computer with flat monitor was also added for guests use. A complete range
of administrative services are offered by the staff in the Business Service
Center, including faxing, copying, desktop publishing and PowerPoint presentation
capabilities. During 2000, the business service center will add a large-scale
plotter and oversized printer to allow conference attendees to create and
produce banners and posters on the property.
The expansion also increased the size of the
resort-owned Media Center which is a self-contained, on-site production
facility including state-of-the-art digital video editing capabilities,
video support and projection services supported by a full-time technical
staff. The Media Center also features a full video and audio production
studio with private screening facilities. A staff of professional technicians
supplies digital photography and videoconferencing services.
As a full service conference resort, our clients expect us to offer
the most up-to-date equipment, resources and facilities, supported by a
trained and experienced staff of media experts. We have and will continue
to set the standard in the conference industry by continually upgrading
and improving our facilities, said Fredo Killing, general manager of the
