Aladdin Resort & Casino Will Manage all Food and Beverage Operations Using InfoGenesis Revelation POS

Las Vegas August 8, 2000 - Aladdin Gaming LLC has selected InfoGenesis to provide the point-of-sale (POS) solution for its new $1.3 billion Aladdin Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.  The uniquely themed 34-acre Aladdin Resort will feature 2,600 rooms along with a spectacular 7,000-seat performing arts center, 100,000 square feet of gaming space, and the most shopping of any Las Vegas resort.  The much-heralded grand opening is slated for August 17.

Revelation, the award-winning point-of-sale solution by InfoGenesis, will manage all food and beverage operations throughout the resort.  The lavish resort incorporates six full-service restaurants, two quick service restaurants, nine lounges, room service, banquet and catering, retail shops, and ticket booth.  More than 115 XN touch screen terminals will operate 22 profit centers via a 100 MB Ethernet network and two IBM Netfinity file servers.

The Revelation POS solution does a great job of supporting our complex needs, said Chad Seegmiller, Director of Information Technologies for Aladdin Resort & Casino.  We needed an open system that could interface to our other operational applications, such as our LMS property management system, our liquor dispensing system, and at least four other applications.  In addition, the XN touch screen terminals represented a technology breakthrough appropriate to our world class venue.

The powerful InfoGenesis solution is built upon the Microsoft NT platform and centralized SQL Server database, added Seegmiller.  This yields powerful reporting capabilities far beyond what other solutions can provide.  With Revelation we can view any profit center or combination of profit centers in real-time.  This gives operational managers the information they need to make sound business decisions and provides us with a true enterprise view of F&B for the entire resort.

We are very pleased with our InfoGenesis team and their responsiveness, stated David Attaway, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Sales and Marketing of Aladdin.  We have seen InfoGenesis handle premier operations before with great success and are confident that they will deliver above and beyond for Aladdin.

All the elements are in place for Aladdin to live up to its four-star rating.  Oversized rooms and suites, fine cuisine, top entertainment, elaborate swimming pools, and VIP treatment will be hallmarks of the new resort.  The London Club, an intimate European gaming club, is a casino within a casino and the first European-style gaming club in America.  The club features high-stakes gaming and gourmet cuisine served in private dining rooms.

Our mission is to provide a level of guest experience that surpasses every other venue.  Im looking forward to  opening night when the Aladdin opens its doors to the world and delivers on the promise of being the most complete  destination in Las Vegas, said Attaway.

Las Vegas-based Aladdin Gaming, LLC is the parent company of Aladdin Resort & Casino. The resort will feature a rich theme based on the legendary 1,001 Arabian Nights, extensive meeting space, and a unique stacked layout allowing hotel guests to access their rooms, the pool, and meeting rooms without walking through the casino or other public areas.
