Robert W. Keilt and Peter C. Yesawich Inducted 
into HSMAI Hall of Fame
WASHINGTON, DC (August 17, 2000) � Recognizing those who have made lasting achievements and contributed to the growth and excellence of the hospitality, travel and tourism industry, the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) presented awards to the following individuals and chapters at the HSMAI Summit last week. 

HSMAI Hall of Fame, which honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of sales and marketing of tourism and travel-related products, inducted as the 41st and 42nd honorees: 

Robert W. Keilt, CHME, retired as senior vice president of sales and marketing worldwide, Sheraton Hotels and Resorts (awarded posthumously) 

Peter C. Yesawich, Ph.D., president and CEO of Yesawich, Pepperdine and Brown 

The Al Bard Award, which recognizes an individual�s contributions made on behalf of the HSMAI Adrian Advertising and Golden Bell Public Relations Awards, was presented to Donald E. Bender, president of Bender Associates Marketing Consultants.  He joins 13 past recipients who have received this prestigious award since its inception in 1986. 

Certified Hospitality Marketing Executives (CHME) accreditation was awarded to these individuals who, through education, experience and service to the industry, demonstrate the highest qualities of professionalism, conduct and performance.

Cecilia Baker, CHME, sales manager, Melbourne Quality Suites Oceanfront Hotel, Melbourne, FL. 
Charles Wai-chung Chan, CHME, director general, China Enterprise Education Services, Kowloon, Hong Kong. 
J. Michael Curran, CHME, vice president franchise marketing, Hilton Hotels, Beverly Hills, CA. 
Andrea Haugen, CHME, manager of the Leaders Club, Leading Hotels of the World, New York, NY. 
Tara N. Thain, CHME, national sales manager, SuperShuttle Airport Transportation, Phoenix, AZ.
