 Bass Hotels Develops Web Site to Simplify the 
Meeting Planning Process

ATLANTA, Aug. 15, 2000 - Bass Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: BAS; London), the world�s most global hotel company, is making meeting and group planning easier with the launch of a new web site at www.meetings.basshotels.com .  The new site is the largest hotel meetings web site offering extensive information on Bass Hotels & Resorts� more than 2,900 hotels worldwide.
