SCHAUMBURG, Ill.�March 30, 2000 - Hostmark Hospitality
Group today announced the launch of HostKare, a company formed to develop
and operate senior living facilities in the United States. The first HostKare
facility, the Bel Aire West, 8630 Nevso Drive, Las Vegas, is set to open
early summer of this year.
�Hostmark�s expertise with hotel properties throughout the world will
translate into providing excellent services for senior residents in our
new HostKare facilities,� said Charles Gavzer, Hostmark�s Executive Vice
President of Operations, who will head HostKare. �Hostkare was created
to reach a niche in the senior market for active seniors who are age 55
and older.�
The Bel Aire West will have 167 one-and two-bedroom apartments.
All will have individually controlled heating and air conditioning, cable-TV
hook-ups, wall-to-wall carpeting and an emergency call system. Guest
suites will be available for overnight stays for family members.
The Bel Aire will feature 24-hour security for safety and a 24-hour emergency
response center.
