| HERSHEY, PA � Kim Schaller, Vice President Corporate
Marketing and Sales of Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company, has announced
that Jim Tierney, CHME, has been appointed Managing Director of Marketing
and Sales for Hershey Resorts and Commercial Group. Tierney will
direct all marketing and sales efforts to achieve occupancy, food and beverage,
and guest satisfaction goals for both The Hotel Hershey and The Hershey
Lodge and Convention Center. The Hershey Resorts and Commercial Group
is comprised of The Hotel Hershey, The Hershey Lodge and Convention Center,
Hershey Highmeadow Campground, Hershey Nursery, and Hershey Laundry.

He has such an incredible background to draw upon, and we�re happy to bring
him back to Pennsylvania,� said Schaller. Prior to joining Hershey
Resorts, Tierney was President of his own marketing consulting firm, and
Vice President of Marketing for Amelia Island Plantation, Amelia Island,
Florida.
Over his 22 years of success in directing the sales and marketing initiatives
of Florida�s most prestigious resorts, Tierney has also served as International
President, HSMAI, and Chairman and board member, Tourist Advisory Committee,
Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach/Yulee Chamber of Commerce. |
