UK Based HotelHub Utilizing Pegasus
Electronic Distribution for Hotel Booking

DALLAS and LONDON, Nov. 15, 1999 - Pegasus Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: PEGS) today announced that HotelHub, a company that provides Internet-based corporate travel management systems, has signed on to use Pegasus Electronic Distribution for hotel booking capabilities. HotelHub, based in London, is a division of the UK-headquartered Polyglobe Group. Pegasus Systems is a leading provider of hotel industry transaction processing and electronic commerce services and owns and operates its own Internet travel reservations site:
TravelWeb.com (http://www.travelweb.com).

HotelHub provides booking solutions for corporate travelers utilizing their company extranets, enabling them to make travel arrangements directly from their computer. Now, as a result of HotelHubs agreement with Pegasus, corporate travelers using HotelHub to make hotel arrangements will have a direct link to participating hotels central reservations systems, providing the ability to access negotiated corporate and client rates by defined viewership, check hotel room availability, securely make a booking and instantaneously obtain a confirmation number from approximately 31,000 hotels.

According to Ghislaine Oliver, head of sales and marketing for HotelHub, the agreement with Pegasus exemplifies the companys strategy to provide its corporate customers with comprehensive hotel reservations capabilities.  As the newest venture for our company, Pegasus enhanced service offerings enable us to offer our corporate business travel customers based in the UK and abroad a complete hotel booking tool with more property information, better search criteria and comprehensive real-time Internet/intranet-based travel booking capabilities tailored to meet their needs at a fraction of the cost of current traditional methods, providing savings for both the corporate clients and the hotel, Oliver said. Pegasus allows us to provide our customers with the ability to feature online only those hotels with which they have negotiated special rates, therefore enhancing a corporations ability to enforce greater financial control.

Most corporations are tightening adherence to travel policies, therefore the ability to access up-to-date and comprehensive negotiated rates is a critical issue with corporate travel managers around the world, said John F.  Davis, president and chief executive officer for Pegasus Systems. Through its connection with Pegasus, HotelHub is able to provide corporate travel managers with an advanced hotel booking solution to help better manage their business travel expenses.

Pegasus provides its Electronic Distribution and Private Label Reservation services to travel planning sites such as Microsofts Expedia.com, Travelnow.com, Travelscape.com and Japans Recruit Isize Travel, as well as to hotel-branded sites such as Sheraton.com, Hyatt.com and Wyndham.com. Additionally, corporate travel booking systems, such as Oracles E-Travel, are Powered by Pegasus. In total, Pegasus powers hotel reservations for more than 50 Web sites/services. During the 12-month period ending June 30, 1999, Pegasus processed 1.3 million Internet hotel bookings, representing approximately $312 million in room revenues.

HotelHub, (http://www.hotelhub.net) an Internet-based corporate travel management system, is managed and owned by The Polyglobe Group, a hotel reservations specialist founded in 1971.  Its original division, British Hotel Reservation Centre, runs reservations desks at major airports and railway stations.  However, Polyglobe has since moved into global online commerce with BHRC Online and The Corporate Team, which are Internet reservations services for the leisure and business markets respectively.  HotelHub is the partner travel reservations service for a large number of associations and other web sites, and The Corporate Team is used as the preferred hotel booking service of many corporations, including The British Council, Diners Club, Legal General and Admiral Plc.  Polyglobe businesses book more than 300,000 room nights each year generating revenues in excess of $80 million.

Pegasus Systems, Inc. (http://www.pegsinc.com) provides electronic commerce and transaction processing solutions to hotels, travel agencies, meetings and convention planners, corporate travel departments and Internet businesses worldwide, as well as operates its own consumer travel reservations site, TravelWeb.com (http://www.travelweb.com).
