January 28, 2013 - Ottawa
– The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has announced the 2012 Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence winners.

The Hall of Fame Awards Program was developed by the HAC to recognize those of its members (individuals, companies or properties) that have demonstrated significant accomplishments, exemplary leadership and tireless commitment to Canada’s lodging industry.

Winners have been recognized in three categories. The winners of the Award of Excellence in each category include:
  • Humanitarian: Kris Crundwell, Pacrim Hospitality Services
  • Human Resources: The Holiday Inn Cambridge
  • Energy & Environment: The Westin Ottawa
“The goal of HAC’s awards program is to reward strong standards in the industry that will enable Canada to remain competitive,” said Tony Pollard, HAC President. “We are pleased to honour the 2012 winners, whom we feel represent some of the finest examples of professionalism, quality and excellence.”

The HAC Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence will be presented on February 4, 2013 at the HAC’s Centennial Anniversary Dinner at the Hilton Toronto Hotel.
