Charles Snyder Appointed to the Acquisitions and Development
SHELTON, Conn. - - June 27, 2012 - -Officials of New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel owner, operator and developer, announced the appointment of Charles Snyder to the company’s acquisitions and development team. Snyder will perform the underwriting and feasibility evaluations for New Castle’s planned expansion.
“New Castle’s three-pronged growth strategy includes sourcing new management contracts, acquiring existing hotels and co-investing with carefully selected partners on new ventures,” said Gerry Chase, president and COO of New Castle Hotels & Resorts. “Charles will lead the effort to fully evaluate the company’s opportunities as they are sourced.”
Snyder has a hotel industry background that includes positions with Smith Travel Research, where he was part of the team that launched HotelNewsNow.com. Prior to joining New Castle, Snyder was a financial analyst with The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group in New York City. He recently earned his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
