Marriott International Debuts Three City Center Hotels
and Three Brands in Doha, Qatar

Renaissance Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, Marriott Executive Apartments
and Saray Spa Offer New Accommodations in Qatar

October 04, 2011
- Marriott International, Inc. today announced the opening of the three-hotel Doha City Center complex, including the 257-room Renaissance Doha City Center Hotel, 204-room Courtyard by Marriott Doha City Center and 123-unit Marriott Executive Apartments Doha City Center. The opening marks the debut of the three brands in Qatar and is an exciting addition to the Doha City Center Mall complex which features over 340 shops and attractions.

All three hotels are located in two modern 48-story towers, ideally located in West Bay across from Qatar Financial Centre, on the doorstep of the new business district of Doha and 15 minutes from Doha International Airport. Although each hotel has its own look and feel, they share floors 1-7 featuring three expansive and elegant lobbies, nine restaurants and bars, 1200 square meters of meeting space, a world-class Vitality Zone health club and Marriott’s signature Saray Spa featuring traditional Middle Eastern treatments and products.

“The opening of the three hotels is a major step forward in reinforcing Doha’s futuristic vision and surging tourism potential in Qatar,” said Ed Fuller, president and managing director, Marriott International. “These three new hotels give us six properties in the country, which is fast becoming a key business and leisure destination in the Middle East.”

“Not only do we offer close to 600 rooms and three very distinct lodging experiences under one roof, but our nine unique food and beverage options and health and fitness facilities create what we are marketing as the “West End” of the spectacular Doha City Center Mall,” said Oliver Kahf, general manager of the three-hotel complex. “Taken together, the lodging, shopping and entertainment complex is quickly becoming a tourism hub in Doha.
