July 6, 2011 - Marriott International’s world-class luxury hotel brand, JW Marriott, today celebrates the opening of its first hotel in Turkey, the JW Marriott Hotel Ankara under a management agreement with Ozkar Insaat A.S.
“The new JW Marriott Ankara epitomizes the very best of the JW Marriott brand, one of the world’s fastest growing luxury hotel brands,” said Amy McPherson, president and managing director for Marriott International in Europe. “As we continue to grow our portfolio throughout Europe, we are eager to add more JW Marriott Hotels in premier destinations and gateway cities such as Ankara, and are confident that this spectacular hotel will attract discerning travelers and groups from all over the world.”

To celebrate the opening of the hotel, the JW Marriott Ankara is offering a special introductory rate for a deluxe room including breakfast for two and internet access from 329 TRY ($200 USD) per night from 1 August to 10 September 2011.
JW Marriott Ankara’s 413 guestrooms offer the ultimate in relaxed elegance and luxury including bedding featuring 300-thread-count Turkish cotton linens, marble baths (over 11,365 square meters of marble was used in constructing the hotel) with deep soaking tubs, separate showers, and the latest in-room technology including 40-inch Philips LED televisions.
Boasting 75 executive rooms and 25 executive suites, executive level guests will have access to a lounge located on 22nd floor offering complimentary breakfast, all day snacks and beverage service, afternoon tea, evening hors d’ oeuvres and dessert, a business center and boardroom.
The hotel’s two premier suites are each 130 square meters large and the two presidential suites are 187 square meters each, offering private access, separate dining room and kitchen as well as optional butler service.
