that the firm represented the ownership group in the recent equity
recapitalization of the 300 – room Liberty Hotel in Boston,
Massachusetts. HEI Hotels & Resorts acquired an ownership
interest in
the hotel as part of a joint venture with the hotel’s original
developer and
co-owner Carpenter & Company. At closing, The Liberty Hotel
became
affiliated with The Luxury Collection by Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
