Northridge Capital Appoints Destination Hotels & Resorts
to Manage The Hotel Telluride in Telluride, Colorado

Englewood, Colo. – September 1, 2009 – Charles S. Peck, president and chief operating officer for Destination Hotels & Resorts, today announced that the company will manage the award-winning Hotel Telluride located in the heart of the historic Colorado mountain town. The 59-unit boutique hotel is conveniently situated in downtown Telluride providing easy access to Telluride Ski Resort and offering picturesque views of the San Juan Mountains. The Hotel Telluride is consistently rated by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the top ski hotels in the magazine’s annual “Best Places to Ski & Stay” reader’s poll.

“Destination Hotels & Resorts has a proven track record managing resorts in Colorado’s world-class mountain towns,” said Peck “We are excited to manage The Hotel Telluride as it’s a great fit for our portfolio with exceptional rooms, a personable staff and great amenities. We know our past guests will be excited to experience this new addition to our collection.”From its origins in Aspen in 1973 with the opening of The Gant, an upscale condominium resort, Destination has grown to include properties in some of the most notable, world-class mountain resorts including Snowmass, Vail, Squaw Valley and Stowe, Vt. to name a few.

“We are extremely pleased to have Destination as the new manager of The Hotel Telluride, as they have tremendous capabilities and long experience in the ski-mountain luxury hotel space,” said David Jackson, president of Northridge Capital, owner of the hotel.

“To those who have invested in The Hotel Telluride condominiums, we believe the affiliation with Destination will deliver long-term value.  For our loyal guests, expect to receive the same high quality, professional service for which the hotel is well known.”

The Hotel Telluride features a beautiful lobby with a soaring two-story atrium, vaulted ceiling and views of the surrounding mountain range in every direction. The decor combines colors and textures of the wide-open American West with the style and comfort of a fine European Hotel. A stone floor, warm wool rugs, comfortable leather sofas, old world chairs and an antler chandelier, along with heavily carved antiques set the tone in the lobby with a huge stone fireplace as the centerpiece.

Each of The Hotel Telluride's 59 guest rooms feature a balcony with mountain views, custom furnishings, personal-size refrigerator, toaster oven-microwave and a CD player/clock-radio just to name a few of the amenities. Beds are appointed with natural feather bedding, cozy down comforter, 250-count embroidered sheets and lots of pillows. The spacious guest room baths feature thick terry monogrammed robes, oversized towels, hair dryers and Aveda bath amenities.

The Bistro at The Hotel Telluride features daily complimentary breakfast, as well as après ski drinks and a full dinner menu. The property also provides its guests with a variety of conveniences such as in town shuttle service, spa services, a fitness center, complimentary cruiser-style bicycle usage and ski and snowboard storage.
