TELLURIDE, Colo. - Premier Resorts has announced the appointment of
Mark Murphy as General Manager of The Hotel Telluride Condominium in Colorado.
Murphy takes over the post following the departure of Tammy Burden. The
announcement was made by Barbara Zimonja, president of Premier Resorts,
the Park City, Utah-based company that manages the 59-room property.
Murphy was previously the Rooms Director with The Peaks Resort and Golden Door Spa in Telluride. He has prior general manager experience with the InterContinental Hotel Group, and has worked for the Aspen Skiing Company at The Little Nell and the Snowmass Lodge and Club. He began his hospitality career in Las Colinas, Tex., at the Marriott Mandalay in 1986. Murphy has been married for 12 years to his wife, Cindy, with whom he has a 21-month-old daughter. A WWII history buff, he enjoys the outdoors mountain biking and skiing, and plays hockey when he can. A former member of the U.S. Air Force Reserves, he is a graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton.
