Waterford Hotel Group Honors Top Performers at
Annual Business Meeting
Hotel Team and
Associate of the Year Among Awards Presented

Managers from the 25 properties in the Waterford Hotel Group, Inc.
portfolio recently attended the company's Annual Business Meeting &
Awards Celebration at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton,
CT. The meeting provided Waterford leadership an opportunity to meet
with their managers and discuss, as a group, strategies and business
initiatives for 2009. The business meeting also gave the attendees a
chance to share ideas and set goals for the year.
During an Awards Luncheon, Waterford Hotel Group recognized its top performing teams and individuals, including Hotel Team of the Year and Associate of the Year. "It is important, even in these challenging times, that we take the time to recognize the contributions made by associates and to celebrate our successes," commented Len Wolman. The 94-room Residence Inn by Marriott in Southington, CT received the most recognition, earning three awards for Front Desk Team of the Year, "Whatever it Takes", and Hotel Team of the Year. Doris Frisina, a bookkeeper at the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, CT was chosen among a pool of 1,700 associates as the 2008 Associate of the Year. For 2008, award
recipients were announced in the following categories: Associate
of the Year, Hotel Team of the Year, General Manager of the Year,
Director of Sales of the Year, Department Head of the Year, "Whatever
it Takes", Most Improved RevPAR, Charitable Excellence, as well as
