PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Sept. 26, 2006) � Wyndham Hotel
Group today announced the appointment of Valerie Capers Workman as vice
president of franchise administration, responsible for managing the execution
of all default, termination and other compliance correspondence for its
domestic hotels.
Workman previously served KPMG LLP, Montvale, N.J., in a variety of marketing and communications roles since 2001, most recently as national manager, human resources policies and procedures. From 1999 to 2001 she was manager, Web marketing and communications, for Arbor National Commercial Mortgage, Uniondale, N.Y. From 1996 to 1999 she was director of marketing and communications for Jazz at Lincoln Center, a not-for-profit arts organization dedicated to Jazz based in New York. From 1994 to 1996 Workman served as executive director, marketing and training, for the Institute for Life Coping Skills at Teachers College, Columbia University, New York. From 1993 to 1994 she was associate director, Tri-State Transportation Campaign, for the Environmental Defense Fund, New York. Workman received her bachelor�s degree in communications from Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y., and juris doctorate degree from St. John�s University School of Law, New York, N.Y. She is admitted to practice law in New York.
