Jenny Lake Lodge is within walking distance of three lakes Jackson Lake, Leigh Lake and Jenny Lake each named with historical significance.  Some of the 37 cabins are also historical being part of the original dude ranch, called the Danny Ranch, which was built on the property at the beginning of the century.  The cabins have a rustic but charming western ambiance and are delightfully appointed with down comforters, handmade quilts and organic cotton bathrobes.  Telephones are available in the cabins, but in keeping with the National Park setting, there are no televisions or radios.  Each cabin is self-contained with one or two beds and a bathroom.  The cabins porch provides a tranquil haven to enjoy the sights and sounds of the area.

The Jenny Lake Dining Room offers a causally-elegant, prix-fixe five-course dinner and an extensive award-winning wine list that has been recognized by Wine Spectator.  The menu is Rocky Mountain cuisine which translates to American/French with some game and regional fare, and is served during two seatings at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  A continental breakfast is available from 6:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the lobby with the main breakfast served in the dining room from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.  Lunch is also served daily.  Dinner reservations are required and jackets are encouraged.  Call 307-733-4647 for reservations.

Attentive service is one attribute that has Jenny Lake Lodge guests returning year after year.  From arranging an in-room massage to scheduling the many activities available in Grand Teton National Park, Jenny Lake Lodges concierge is available daily to assist guests during their stay.  Twice daily ice delivery to the cabins and nightly turn-down service are a few of the amenities that guests receive.   The Jenny Lake Lodge Gift Shop offers gifts and apparel, as well as providing services for guests of the lodge.

Originally known as the Danny Ranch, the lodge hosted 23 guests in its first year in 1923.  Original guests were mainly Easterners who had the means and the adventuresome spirits to try the western life for a few summer weeks.  The ranch was renamed Jenny Lake Ranch in 1937, and by 1942 the ranchs guest capacity grew to 65.  By 1949 Jenny Lake Ranch was considered the top facility of the Grand Teton Lodge and Transportation Companys properties.  After the 1951 season, its name was changed to Jenny Lake Lodge.  Prominent people such as Princess Grace of Monaco and her family vacationed at the ranch.  Today, Jenny Lake Lodge serves host to a variety of guests annually.
