Three to General Manager Positions |

MIAMI, FL - (June 20, 2005) - Driftwood Hospitality Management continues
to expand its portfolio with the new management contract for Marriott Courtyard
Richmond Airport. This entrepreneurial hospitality company has also
tapped three general managers for hotels in Pennsylvania, Virginia and
California.
Raymond Smith is the General Manager of the latest acquisition, Marriott Courtyard Richmond Airport. Smith has worked in the industry for fifteen years, including stints as Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage. Marriott Courtyard Richmond Airport, conveniently located half a mile from Richmond International Airport in the city of Sandston, features 142 spacious guestrooms. The recently renovated Crowne Plaza Hotel Allentown taps Jonathan Carter as the new General Manager. Carter first gained experience in the industry as a Front Office Manager for Richfield Hospitality where he was later promoted to Director of Sales. He then spent three years as Director of Sales and troubleshooter for some of Richfield's Virginia properties. He worked for a multifamily property management company in sales and administration prior to joining Driftwood in February 2004 as the Director of Sales for the Holiday Inn Sarasota. Jeff Whitehead was recently named General Manager of the River Terrace Inn, which overlooks beautiful Napa Valley. Whitehead is a graduate of the University of Dubuque and holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics. He worked for Steamboat Resorts Management, where he managed vacation condominiums and hotels for sixteen years. He relocated to St. Helena, California where he managed the Inn at Southbridge and was later Director of Guest Services at Meadowood Napa Valley. Jeff has assisted Driftwood during management conversions at many other properties. Driftwood Hospitality Management LLC, based in Jupiter, Florida, is one of the fastest growing independent hotel and resort management and development firms in the country today. Established in January 1999 by David Buddemeyer, Driftwood owns and/or manages 29 hotels comprising approximately 7,800 rooms throughout the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America.
