CHICAGO (April 21, 2003). � Soon hoteliers will get answers to key questions affecting reservation booking performance thanks to a new strategic data alliance between The Center for Hospitality Research and TravelCLICK, a firm that provides exclusive knowledge and tools to effectively benchmark hotel booking performance in the electronic marketplace. The new alliance between The Center for Hospitality Research (CHR) at Cornell University�s School of Hotel Administration and TravelCLICK is an opportunity for researchers to have access to a comprehensive database for study. Hotel School Professor Cathy Enz, executive director of the CHR, said: �One of the Center�s objectives is to help the industry understand distribution-channel management, and access to the TravelCLICK database will enable our researchers to explore a variety of important aspects of reservation booking.� Based at the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, The Center for Hospitality Research conducts and sponsors research studies aimed at improving the hospitality industry�s fundamental operating knowledge. The Center�s mission is to bring together the best insights of scholarship in hospitality and industry expertise.
