HONOLULU, March 2003 - Ronald J. Holecek, AIA, president and chief executive officer of Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo Architects, Designers, Planners and Consultants (WATG), has announced the promotion of Chao Robert Zheng to Director of Business Development, Greater China.

We have valued Roberts contributions to WATGs overall success and especially as it relates to the firms work in China, states Holecek.  Zheng will continue to work out of WATGs Honolulu office, where he will lead our worldwide China marketing strategy.

In February 1996, Robert joined WATG as a marketing research analyst, monitoring trends, tracking and analyzing data, and assisting in the firms China marketing activities.  In June 2000, he was promoted to Research Coordinator.  In March 2001, in recognition of his interest and initiative in the Greater China market, he was promoted to Manager of Business Development, Greater China.

Howard J. Wolff, WATGs Senior Vice President, says of Zheng, He has consistently identified opportunities for WATG to be more successful and has taken the initiative to make it happen.  Robert demonstrates high professional ethics, thinks strategically, and looks after the best interests of WATG and our clients.
