Wheeler has worked her way up through the ranks at ASTON for 16 years, having served many years as general manager and director of sales for Waikiki. She joined ASTON�s corporate sales department in 1999 and was promoted to assistant director of marketing in October 2001.

As director of marketing, Wheeler�s primary responsibilities will include overseeing marketing strategies, internal and external communications and the annual marketing budget for ASTON's 34 properties throughout Hawaii.

Wheeler has 22 years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry. She is a certified hotel administrator from the American Hotel and Motel Association. An active volunteer, Wheeler has served on the Hawaii Hotel Association�s Small Property Committee and Heald Business College�s Career Advisory Committee.
