Provide Free Laundry Services and Linens for Homeless |
MILWAUKEE, Wis., June 20, 2000�The lodging divisions
of The Marcus Corporation, Baymont Inns & Suites and Marcus Hotels
and Resorts, today announced the launch of �Linen-Aid,� a special program
to provide free laundry services and linens to several Milwaukee charities
and shelters that work with the homeless. Initially, the program
will serve the Greater Milwaukee Chapter of the American Red Cross, with
plans to add in the near future four shelters affiliated with the United
Way�Sojourner Truth House, Milwaukee Women�s Refuge, Counseling Center
of Milwaukee and Walker�s Point Youth and Family Shelter.
