to the Hospitality Industry

--
Hong Kong August 24, 2001 - Pertlink the global network linking HospitalITy with IT, announced today they will use VFLASH, the unique eMessenger to keep in touch with, and communicate timely information to their clients.

Having successfully introduced VFLASH to the hospitality industry, Pertlink has opted to use this eCRM tool so those in the industry registered in their database can dynamically set their own preferences and receive information on specific, or a wide range of IT related topics and company news.

We call this permission based marketing, says Terence Ronson, Managing Director of Pertlink. We all suffer from information overload, often from receiving a barrage of meaningless e-mails that we either immediately delete or leave unread. We hope to eliminate these time-wasting efforts by sending targeted messages.

If the recipient is interested in information on a specific subject like Call Accounting, Yield Management, CRM, PMS, POS, Door Locks etc, then all he has to do is check the preferences section, and thats all he will get. If he wants more, then all he has to do is add more entries to his preferences.  Pertlink will then look for vendors who meet those criteria, and help them more effectively reach their target on a global or regional basis in a way that has never been possible before directly to the people who want to know about promotional offers of products they only care about.

If people want to know everything about everything, then they can take time to read magazines, or surf the

web, says Simon Chau VP Strategic Partnerships with VFLASH Asia. What VFLASH does is create a real B2C environment linkingbuyer with seller in a time-saving focussed environment like no other solution can offer its unique and our clients love it.

By simply downloading the Pertlink VFLASH Messenger from our website at www.pertlink.net and registering their particular preferences, hoteliers from around the world will be able to communicate their needs through Pertlinks evolving network of Associates.  We will then respond in a very meaningful manner and in real time with information people want, commented Ulrik von Luttichau, a Pertlink Associate.

Once installed, a small icon (as shown below) will sit in the taskbar of the  computer, and when a message arrives with information that has been requested, the icon will be replaced with a flash symbol, and blink. Click on the icon, and the required information appears.

The service is free to end users and can be up and running in a matter of minutes.

VFLASH is a permission driven communication tool, used not only by hotels, but world-class companies such as Ford, IBM, Blockbuster and Coca Cola as a means to enhance customer relationship and drive business.
