MIAMI (Apr. 9, 2001) � The Hotel Inter-Continental
Miami�s multi-million dollar renovation included enhancements to what was
already downtown Miami�s most complete meetings and conventions facility.
The Hotel Inter-Continental Miami is owned by Atlanta-based Bass Hotels
& Resorts®.
The
Inter-Continental�s upgraded, remodeled and redesigned facilities total
62,000 square feet, and features a separate conference registration area
providing convenience and accessibility for both meeting hosts and registrants.
All renovated business spaces have broadband Internet capability.
The renovated meeting facilities include new carpeting,
airwalls, wallpaper, and newly purchased artwork representing Florida�s
most picturesque scenes.

of more than 21,260 square feet and all with expansive ceiling heights:

The 13,662 square foot Grand Ballroom;

The 5,000 square foot Chopin Ballroom;

Twenty seven breakout rooms, ranging in size from
380 square feet to 13,622 square feet;

A 2,384 square-foot, full-service theatre with projection
room;

A separate state-of-the-art conference registration

A refurbished reception area with a capacity of 2,200;

A rooftop, poolside reception area with views of
Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami accommodating up to 700.

Renowned interior designer Hirsch Bedner Associates
created the new �modern Florida style� décor for the hotel�s renovation.
To create a seamless conference/meeting environment,
the Inter-Continental also redesigned its 30 business rooms, with individual
fax/copy/printers, dual-line speaker phones with voice mail and data port
for portable computers, an oversized writing desk with an ergonomic chair,
enhanced lighting, and a coffee maker.
The Hotel Inter-Continental Miami is located in

Alexander Feher Named Executive
Chef at The Hotel Inter-Continental Miami
March 26, 2001-- Chef Feher brings years of culinary
innovation and experience with him to Miami, having spent nearly two decades
at the Hotel Inter-Continental New York, and more than 30 years total at
Inter-Continentals worldwide.
As executive chef, Feher will be responsible for the operation
of Indigo Restaurant & Bar and the Blue Water Cafe, room service and
all function rooms. He will supervise the culinary staff; create menus
and daily specials, control food quality, food costs, purchasing and labor
costs.
�Feher�s extensive knowledge of food preparation, garnered
at hotel and restaurant appointments worldwide, will bring the Inter-Continental
Miami to a new level in serving the finest contemporary cuisine with a

In 1999, Feher received the recognition of �Master Taster�
by Chefs of America. He was twice awarded �Hotel Chef of the Year� by the
same organization. Feher�s professional memberships include �Chef Rotisseur�

Club in New York.
Born in Germany, Feher speaks three languages fluently.
He received his Masters degree in Culinary Skills from Germany�s Kuechenmeister
