January 26, 2001 - The Dow Hotel Company has announced that Randall
M. King has joined the company in the key position of General Manager at
its’ newest acquisition, The Rosemont Suites at O’Hare in metropolitan
Chicago.
The 296 suite Rosemont Suites at O’Hare hotel offers 15,000 square feet of meeting space and is across the street from The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. The hotel is one mile from O’Hare International Airport. The hotel was acquired in December of 2000 by PD Hotel Associates, a joint venture of Prudential Real Estate Investors and The Dow Hotel Company. The Dow Hotel Company manages the hotel. The Dow Hotel Company, headquartered in Seattle, is a hotel management and ownership company. In addition to the Rosemont Suites at O’Hare, Dow Hotel Company currently has an ownership position in and manages the 308-room Sacramento, California Radisson and the Clarion Hotel James Madison, a 127-room boutique property in Norfolk, Virginia. The company aggressively is seeking to acquire and manage other mid- to large-size, full-service hotels, especially those that have extensive food and beverage capabilities. |
