nearly 30 years experience as a hotel professional, Dow has developed a
proven track record. Prior to founding DHC in 1997, Dow was Executive Vice
President and Chief Operations Officer of HEI Hotels, based in Westport,
CT. Under Dow�s direction, HEI hotels grew from one property to twenty
with $200 million in annual sales. He established acquisition strategy,
operations and service standards, accounting procedures, financial investment
and ownership relations� practices for the company.
Prior to joining HEI Hotels, Dow was the first General
Manager in Interstate Hotels� history to open a new hotel on time and under
construction budget at The Boca Raton Marriott Hotel. He was previously
the Managing Director of Christensen Hotels, responsible for first class
properties in the Seattle Area. He spent over five years with Four Seasons
Hotels, as Resident Manager, Executive Assistant Manager and Rooms Division
Manager of The Four Seasons Olympic, The Four Seasons Clift and The Ritz
Carlton Chicago. Dow began his career with Westin Hotels at The Benson
Hotel, where he started as a management trainee, cycled through all phases
of rooms and food & beverage operations and became the opening Assistant
