Fred Julius brings 18 years of hospitality management experience to his new position at Bald Head Island Resort.  Previously, Mr. Julius was Director of Operations at Founders Inn, a Benchmark property located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Prior to this, he was General Manager of  The Council House and Wingspread, both Benchmark Hospitality properties located in Racine, Wisconsin.  
 

Before this, Mr. Julius was Director of Operations at Casperkill Country Club, a Benchmark property located in Poughkeepsie, New York.  Prior to this, he was Club Manager at Heritage Country Club, also managed by Benchmark Hospitality and located in Johnson City, New York. Previously, Fred Julius was the Executive Chef and subsequently Senior Food & Beverage Director at the Palisades Executive Conference

Mr. Julius is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University located in Providence, Rhode Island.   He and his family will relocate to Southport, North Carolina.
