 Western Hospitality, LLC, Constructing $4 million 81-unit Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel and 
Conference Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska
SCOTTSBLUFF, Nebr., Oct. 17, 2000 � Western Hospitality, LLC, today officially broke ground for a new 81-unit Hampton Inn & Suites hotel and conference center to be located at the intersection of Avenue B and Highway 26 in Scottsbluff.  Construction of the new Hampton Inn & Suites hotel is scheduled for completion by June 2001.

�Hampton Inn & Suites is an ideal lodging product for the Scottsbluff/Gering market,� said Glen E. Lussetto, general manager of the hotel.  �Business, leisure and group travelers visiting the area will enjoy the same high-quality services and amenities they�ve grown to associate and trust with the Hampton Inn name.�
 

Ownership: The Scottsbluff hotel is owned by Western Hospitality, LLC, of Scottsbluff, a licensee of Hampton Inn & Suites.  

Management: The general manager of the property is Glen E. Lussetto, CHA.  Glen and Clarence Gealy are part of Western Hospitality Management, and also service an award-winning  Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Fort Pierre, South Dakota.  Glen has over seven years of hotel experience, five while working for John Q. Hammons Hotels in Springfield, Missouri.

Property Details: The three-story hotel features 57 traditional guest rooms and 24 suites.  It is scheduled to open on June 1, 2001.  The hotel is expected to employ at least 30 people when it is open.

Construction Details: Construction will begin by November 1, 2000, and is estimated to cost $4,000,000 (for hotel and conference center).  Gealy Development of Scottsbluff is the general contractor and is actively seeking local subcontractors to work on the project.  A restaurant is being sought for the site, but will be developed separately.

When completed, the new Scottsbluff Hampton Inn & Suites hotel will provide guests with a full complement of services and amenities, including an attached conference center for up to 500 guests.  Also, the hotel will feature an indoor pool, whirlpool, exercise room and game room.  The facility will be 100% smoke-free.
