Ramsey, NJ October 11 - AlphaNet Hospitality Systems Inc., the

today announced a staggering increase in activity with its �InnFax®
Business Center� during the Millennium Summit, held in New York City, September
4 -10, 2000.
Hotels citing an increase in fax usage had a high occupancy rate of
diplomats during the week of the Summit. Compared to the previous
week, three hotels, among a list of ten citing an increase, identified
a significant rise in fax activity: The Regal U.N. Plaza Hotel showed
a 140% increase, The Roosevelt Hotel, 136%, and The New York Palace a 108%
increase. According to AlphaNet, the final numbers recently became
available based on their September billing month.
�The fact that we have witnessed such a flurry of activity in fax usage
during the Millennium Summit confirms that faxes are still a universally
accepted and secure method of communication,� said John Beasley, Executive
Vice President of Sales and Marketing for AlphaNet. During the Summit,
AlphaNet installed service representatives in all hotels to ensure that
equipment performed at optimal capacity, without interruption.
