Washington State Hotel & Motel Association Endorses
the "Reverse Auction" Global Group Purchase Plan
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Oct. 5, 2000 -- Global Group Purchase Plan Corp (GGPP), a subsidiary of Internet Businesss International Inc. has signed with the Washington State Hotel & Motel Association (WSH&MA), to provide to the WSH&MA the GGPP Program to the members of the Association.

The WSH&MA has been an advocate for the Washington state lodging industry for the past 80 years, and plans to offer to its 350 members (which represents more than 27,000 lodging rooms) and its 100 allied members the opportunity to reduce the cost of purchasing products and services with the GGPP (reverse buyers auction) program.

As stated in a recent AH&MA news release, members spent in excess of $4 billion annually on products and services to operate their businesses.
I believe that the WSH&MA members will benefit from this plan, stated Marc Schechtman, president of the Global Group Purchase Plan, and will see immediate time and cost savings. We are very excited about this opportunity and plan to make these auctions very successful for the participants, concluded Schechtman.

Global Group Purchasing Program is a reverse auction system. Reverse auctions are a kind of backward auctions that  force suppliers into bidding to sell everything from electricity to xylene. An auction starts slowly, then continues and ends in a rush where suppliers try to underbid each other.
