the early eighties, the property, under the Neels stewardship, is due
to undergo extensive renovation and expansion, including several new beachfront
bungalows, a sportsbar and spa. Plans also include six private villas to
be built on the sunset coast of the island and sold to individual investors.
Michael Dalke of Resource Pacifica will spearhead the effort to re-develop
and re-position the resort.
The sale was brokered by Pacific Island Investments,
an international brokerage and consulting firm, based in Hawaii and specializing
in resorts and private islands throughout the South Pacific. PII, through
its local Vila affiliate, Island Properties, will handle the marketing
and sale of the villas.
The island is owned and leased by Erakor Village, which supplies most
of the resorts employees. Andy and Haidee |
