"Our specialty is the hospitality industry," explains Reddy.  "However, we can customize our software for any company in any vertical industry so it can use the Internet to simplify its purchasing and inventory procedures."  

Reddy and other investors -- including leading Atlanta hotelier Kal Patel and Satyan Melwani, a former product manager at hsupply.com -- have purchased the software platforms for their new firm from hsupply.com, which ran out of capital and went out of business last month.  They have also hired hsupply's team of technical experts to join their new venture.

"By building on this existing technical staff and software, we can dramatically jump-start our business and immediately start serving customers with people and products that have a proven track record in e-procurement," added Reddy, who has owned and managed a successful computer software consulting company since the early 1990's, while also owning and operating several hotels in the Atlanta area.

Reddy and his fellow investors are in the process of hiring an experienced management team to run day-to-day operations for the new firm.

"The e-procurement software of hsupply.com was recognized by customers, as well as by numerous industry authorities, as one of the best available technologies for online purchasing and inventory solutions," said Reddy.  "We've already had preliminary conversations with several of these people, which makes us confident that there will be early and widespread acceptance from business owners as well as purchasing managers for the licensing of our software."
